This case study explores how Lucent Innovation built a custom Android trip booking app for a growing US travel startup. The app offers seamless booking, smart search, and 24/7 AI chatbot support, enhancing user engagement, customer service, and overall booking experience.
The client had a responsive website already but realised a dedicated mobile experience was becoming increasingly necessary in order to improve user engagement. The client wanted to create an Android app that would give a smooth booking experience and incorporate a chatbot for customer care to offer immediate assistance, as more and more people prefer mobile reservations. But to carry out the project effectively, they required a trustworthy technology partner because they lacked in-house mobile development experience.
To guarantee cost-effectiveness, quicker development, and scalability, the client decided on an Android app developed with React Native after extensive conversations with our tech team experts. To improve customer service and engagement, a chatbot was incorporated within the application to manage user questions, booking support, and frequently asked questions.
